Unique and one of a kind Simply Beautiful original 1930s handmade hand embroidered, could be Hungarian or Romanian peasant style smock shirt Dress / Tunic.
Was most likely made for a young girl who would then have worn it as she grew taller as it has signs of having been let down around the low waist. We would not consider these stitch marks and fold line as damage but part of the history on the garment. Could easily be covered by adding ribbons to cover is you so wish.
 
Petit Pan collar with concealed popper fastening neck. French seams on the inside.
Sleeves are gathered at the cuffs and generously embroidered in same vivid colours.
Cuffs fastens with two poppers. 
 
Minor signs of wear, mark on one shoulder and small very faint marks that our camera could not pick up.
