A Superb piece of American history, The Lumberjack or Hunting Jacket has been around since the 1850s when Pennsylvania-based Woolrich Woolen Mills creates the first buffalo plaid flannel shirt. 
This example from the 1950s is in Amazing Condition and with all the details you would expect.
Made by the iconic brand "Skyline", this jacket features four large front pockets with press stud closures. The back is one large pocket with pocket flaps at he sides with press stud closures. The shoulders have a separate yolk to circulate the air. The sleeves have two layers with one connecting to the inner bodice and one to the outer yolk. The inner sleeve has a button cuff and the outer is loose and can be turned up. Fastens at the front with original button and button holes.
